JOB DESCRIPTION

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Manages multiple improvement projects at the Greenville site (work plan development, deadlines and milestones setting, resource allocation, results tracking)
  • Contributes to resource identification for identified improvement projects
  • Ensures projects stay on schedule and delivers business value
  • Shares best practices with other sites
  • Integrates with site resources to identify, prioritize, and implement improvement projects across the site

BUSINESS ACUMEN

  • Makes informed decisions based on data analysis and assessments
  • Uses knowledge of Mallinckrodt manufacturing operations and organization, coupled with a sound knowledge of value proposition tools and techniques to identify high improvement opportunities

COACHING

  • Coaches and develops Performance Excellence team members – a role model who is comfortable with hands on approach as needed
  • Utilizes Mallinckrodt Change Management best practices to ensure effective change management across the site and the development of change management skills in Performance Excellence  resources

COMMUNICATION

  • Clearly communicates project status, issues and supporting information to the Plant Manager and site leadership team
  • Utilizes communications best practices to develop and communicate project updates

COLLABORATION

  • Leads/coaches site resources involved with improvement projects to resolve conflicts and find win-win solutions to issues
  • Identifies stakeholders and ensures inclusion in decision making processes as appropriate

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in a technical discipline required
  • Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
  • Strong practitioner in collaboration and coaching
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage messaging based on audience
  • Ability to prioritize business initiatives using data driven decision processes
  • Displays managerial courage
  • Ability to succeed in a matrix organization
