Safety and Quality Commitment: You can’t have one without the other

A look at the importance of safety in regards to quality in the Food Manufacturing space.
-How to create a culture of safety
-Why are safety and quality paramount?
-What does a commitment to safety and quality do for an organization?
It is easy to become complacent. We get busy, workload is heavy, deadlines are past due, and we cut corners…it happens to all of us, right? In 2019, the Manufacturing Industry alone reported 395,000 workplace injuries and 35,000 workplace illnesses, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Our employees are our lifeline and the cost of illness, injury, and worst yet, death are too high of a price to pay. This plays into how goods and services are delivered to our customers; it affects reputation, culture, growth.
