B-FITSM:  Improve Organizational Fitness with Baldrige Basics

Whether it’s your body or your business, regular checkups are important to know what’s working and what needs improvement. Organizational fitness is a mindset and a process for overcoming status quo, continuously improving, and adapting to stay ahead of the competition.

The Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence is recognized throughout the world as the gold standard for assessing and improving organizational performance. It’s a roadmap on how to compete in this fast paced, hyper-competitive, ever changing world.

Although Baldrige is the gold standard for performance excellence, you may have heard myths and even wonder if it is still around. The reality is the Baldrige framework has stood the test of time and works for organizations…all sizes, all sectors.

In this session, we will:

  • Define organizational fitness and how to quickly assess fitness
  • Identify practices, policies, and procedures that contribute to status quo, complacency, and zap organizations of energy, sales, and profits
  • The basics of the Baldrige framework and how you can use it to B-FITSM
