Anita Marx is founder of AIM Consulting LLC.  AIM was established in 2001 to help businesses and individuals aim high to achieve excellence. Anita’s performance excellence and business process improvement experience includes:

  • Nationally recognized leader in application of the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. Evaluated scores of organizations based on the Criteria and authored feedback reports on how to improve overall results.
  • Member of Malcolm Baldrige Board of Examiners (2003-2011). Examiner, team leader, team lead coach, and alumni examiner.
  • Member of the Malcolm Baldrige National Training team to instruct new and returning examiners on the Criteria, the evaluation process, how to conduct site visits, and writing feedback reports.
  • Authored four state-level Baldrige applications. Clients achieved recognition at the highest award level.
  • Member of the Board of Examiners and Board of Overseers for the Excellence in MO Foundation from 1993-2002.
  • Judge for the International Team Quality process.
  • Chair of Panel of Judges, member of Advisory Board for Midwest Excellence Institute, and lead trainer and consultant for MO and KS Excellence Awards. (2014-current.)

Anita has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an M.B.A. from St Louis University. Anita is a member of the MU Industrial Engineering Hall of Fame. She taught Quality Processes at Washington University College of Engineering. Anita is a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality, a Certified Manager of Organizational Excellence, and completed Six Sigma training. In addition, she is a member of the Ishikawa Medal Committee, which recognizes individuals for their contributions to the quality profession and development of people.
