Value Stream Mapping Workshop

A 4-hour hands on workshop conducted by Amy Slovacek, a value stream mapping expert from Lutheran Senior Services. This workshop is designed to help you learn techniques and enhance your skills using the Lean value stream mapping tool.
After this workshop you will be able to take the concepts shown and implement them in your workplace to identify and reduce “muda” (waste) and all non-value added activities that increase costs and reduce customer satisfaction.

Amy Slovacek is the Director of Planning and Operational Excellence at Lutheran Senior Services in St. Louis, Missouri. She has a bachelors in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Auburn University and is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Amy has a range of experience across many industries; Pharmaceuticals, Paper, Electronics, Food & Beverage, and most recently Healthcare. Amy is a senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, sits on the IIE Industry Advisory Board, and participates in the IIE Society for Health Systems Young Professionals group. She is also a member of the American Society for Quality.
