The First Year in the Life of a Startup

In October 2015 I had an idea one year later I have a product, customers and won an Arch Grant. I will discuss how the process I followed for creating a new company, defining and developing the product and the Arch Grants process. I will share what went well and what I would do differently.

Our product is SensrTrx a manufacturing analytics application that helps small to medium sized manufacturing companies better understand capacity, downtime and quality.

Bryan Sapot

Bryan a lifelong entrepreneur and started his first company in 1997 and sold that company in 2015. That company, Datix, did a lot of things over those 18 years. We started as a custom software company developing ERP systems for small to medium sized manufacturers. Then transitioned to a software services company which implemented Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics CRM & Epicor ERP.

Bryan’s new company SensrTrx, founded in 2015, was awarded an Arch Grant in 2016, he was also part of the St. Louis Business Journal’s 30 under 30 in 2001 and has been featured in INC magazine.
