The ASQ St. Louis Section is kicking off our Annual Quality Conferences which we have branded LOUCON.  We have been working hard over the last year and have put together a World Class Program discussing important and relevant Quality topics to share with the Quality Community.

Our Program includes a St. Louis quality icon in Sr. Mary Jean Ryan, who led SSM Health Care to be the first healthcare organization in the United States to win the Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award.  While learning from the past, we also look to the future with Matthew Porter, CEO of Contegix, an award winning, managed hosting, cloud computing and colocation service provider based in St. Louis.

Also included are the following three tracks of expert speakers:

  • ISO 9001:2015 – The quality community is certainly buzzing with this new update to the standard. We found the experts and they will be provide invaluable knowledge and discussion.
  • Project Management – Project management, including change management has always been linked with quality. We have some sessions on important topics such as iterative and incremental development, as well as change management as it pertains to people and your career.
  • The Best of the Rest Quality Topics –  We found some excellent speaker to share with you.  By combining perspectives from Academia, Consultants and Practitioners, we have sessions that you will enjoy immensely; including ASQ Fellow, Dr. Beth Cudney speaking on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

There is no better way to kick-off WORLD QUALITY MONTH than to bring the quality community together for this discussion.  The one-day conference is November 3, 2016.  Registration and breakfast start at 7:00 A.M. with speakers at 8:00 A.M.

Our conference host will be the University of Missouri –St. Louis. The location will be the Millennium Student Center’s conference facility on the main campus at 1 University Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63121.
