Driving Quality From the Inside Out
As technology eliminates more simple, repetitive and purely logic-based labor, the work that’s generated requires more creativity, collaboration and empathy than ever. In other words, the Digital Age is enabling us to be more human. But are we ready to take advantage of that?
As quality professionals, being versed in process and technical capabilities as well as the invisible, but very real, psychological underpinnings of our organizations will be more important than ever. This workshop will explore how we can develop our own skills through practical mindfulness training, and how this can positively impact our lives and the work that we do.
Jo Pang is both a management consultant and mindfulness teacher whose work centers on helping organizations and individuals transform with an integrative and human-centered approach.
People, process and technology are the three key elements for successful organizational transformation. Jo’s expertise lies in the intersection of these elements. As a management consultant with Slalom, he has the privilege of working with top businesses in the St. Louis community to create sustainable positive change. Prior to his work as a management consultant, he spent six years as a leader at Express Scripts, most recently as a Director of Quality and Process Improvement, transforming his own teams and others.
Aside from his work with organizations, Jo is a certified mindfulness teacher who offers research-based tools and principles that develop emotional intelligence, compassion, happiness and resilience. He founded the mindfulness program at Express Scripts and within one year attracted 500+ members, 94% of whom stated that mindfulness practice changed their lives for the better.
Jo’s ongoing mission is to support individuals and organizations on their paths to being their best selves, more of the time.
