ASQ’s new on-line Recertification Journal

Mark Lynch and Vicki Mercer will discuss ASQ’s new on-line Recertification Journal.

- What you will need in preparation of filling out your recertification journal.
- How to navigate to it on the asq.org website.
- How to enter your recertification information.
- How to submit for recertification.
- Some “Best Practices” for using the electronic recertification journal.
Mark Lynch, Ph.D.,P.E.
Mark Lynch is currently a team lead of an agile software development team providing software for the DoD’s Air Mobility Command located at Scott Air Force Base. over the last ten years Mark has been working as a contractor to the DoD as a team lead, system engineer and Project Manager. Before that, Mark owned is own Engineering consulting and specialty equipment manufacturing company servicing the silicon manufacturing industry. Mark is a Senior Member of ASQ and has been a member of this section for seven years. He as served as the Membership Committee Chair last year and is Vice Chair this year. He holds two ASQ Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Software Quality Engineer.
Vicki Mercer, Senior Supplier Quality Specialist, Bausch & Lomb
Vicki is currently in the role of Senior Supplier Quality Specialist at Bausch & Lomb – St. Louis. She manages three programs for the St. Louis facilities: The Supplier Audit Program, the Approved Supplier List, and the Reduced Inspection Program. Vicki performs all supplier audits for the St. Louis facilities, audits Contract Manufacturers (CMOs) for Bausch & Lomb regional/corporate/global partners, and conducts internal audits. She holds four ASQ Certifications: Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Quality Engineer, and Certified Manager of Quality/Operational Excellence. Vicki recently joined the ASQ-St. Louis Leadership Committee in the position of Recertification Chair.
